Debora “Debbie” Phillips, 57, Green Bay, died at home on Sunday, April 3, 2016, after a long battle with corticobasal degeneration. She was born on April 14, 1958, in Green Bay to Kenneth and Shirley (Benoit) Phillips.
Debbie graduated from Green Bay East High School, Class of 1977. She worked at Pizza Hut for 27 years and Copp’s until 2010. In 2011, Debbie had to stop working due to her declining health. She loved cooking. Homemade caramel popcorn was a favorite. Debbie taught her family the virtue of working hard and loving harder. She loved being with her family, especially her grandson, Dominic.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Samantha Phillips and her significant other, Kevin; grandson, Dominic Smith; Debbie’s significant other and caregiver, Don Aurin; five brothers, three sisters, and their spouses, Ralph Phillips, Rose (Gerald) Stuart, Joseph (Bonnie) Phillips, Paul Phillips, Wendi (Charlie) Petitt, Patricia Aguilar, Patrick (Jessica) Phillips, and John Phillips; sister-in-law, Patricia Phillips; Gloria Jadin; and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Kenneth, Reuben, and Eugene Phillips.
